Since opening in 2016, Dronfield Hall Barn has won several prestigious awards. It is all thanks to our team of dedicated volunteers and loyal supporters, without you none of this would be possible!

Derbyshire Heritage Awards, 2016. Best Volunteer Project, Highly Commended. 

The hard work of our volunteers was deservedly rewarded with national recognition from the Heritage Alliance and in the Derbyshire Heritage Awards at the end of 2016.

Heritage Alliance, 2016. Ecclesiastical Heritage Hero Award Overall Project Winner.

Dronfield Heritage Trust was proud that the barn rescue and renovation project was voted outright winner as top heritage project for 2016 by the Heritage Alliance. Mike Slinn, our chairman from 2003-2016, was recognised for his dedication to the project and collected the award on behalf of the Barn's volunteers and supporters.

Dronfield Civic Society, 2017. John Robert Clough Award, Special Award.

The John Robert Clough Awards recognise and reward those who make significant efforts to improve aspects of Dronfield. The Hall Barn received a Special Award for "its exceptional contribution to Dronfield's heritage".

Civic Voice Design Awards, 2017. Shortlisted in Historic Buildings category.

Dronfield Hall Barn was delighted to be nominated in the prestigious Civic Voice Design Awards by Dronfield Civic Society. The project has been shortlisted in the Historic Buildings category, and results will be announced in Parliament in summer 2017. You can read more by clicking here.
